About this class: This course, Mindful Connection, provides practical skills grounded in Scripture and psychoeducation to help participants cultivate mindfulness and live the abundant life promised by God. While not a substitute for counseling, the program offers a structured eight-week format, featuring video lessons, exercises, and practical homework designed to reinforce skills through practice. Outlining the concepts of mindful connection and using techniques like breathwork and guided visualization, the course encourages participants to live in the present, reduce stress, and align their thoughts with biblical truths in a non-preachy way. Additional modules on stress management, emotional regulation, and relationships complement the series. The course integrates faith, Scripture, and neuroscience to foster transformative growth and a deeper connection with God.
